Real-life study demonstrates that isomaltulose suits a personalized nutrition approach

A study conducted by Perfood GmbH, Germany, in collaboration with the University of Lübeck, Germany, demonstrates that BENEO’s ingredients support a personalised nutrition approach.

This first citizen science study confirms that the health benefits of the slow-release carbohydrate isomaltulose and also prebiotic chicory root fibres are robust and not overruled by the habitual lifestyle and usual diet. Palatinose™ improved several aspects of blood glucose control. The addition of prebiotic chicory root fibres beneficially modulated gut microbiota and further improved blood glucose control.
